How to distinguish SAM-e quality?

SAM-e is known to be a popular food supplement ingredient in Europe. 

When we need to purchase, how should we distinguish between various quality products on the market?

Here, I would like to share some of our experiences：

1, Appearance: Better one is pure white powder, cheaper one is off-white powder.  You can see the difference when you put them on one paper.

2, Odor: Better one has no distinct smell, the cheaper one has slight smell.

You can find the difference when you smell both at the same time.

3, Stability: When putting both powders on the paper, after half an hour, the cheaper one is easier to stick to paper and more likely to clump, color changes faster.

All those differences could be found when putting both powders together.

It’s not easier to notice the change when you use them at different times.
